Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Plain-English summary: Clickilink is a social and business platform. We collect only the information needed to run the service — your account details, the content you create, and basic usage and device data. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising, we do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we never sell your personal data or share it with data brokers. You can delete your content and your account at any time.
1. Who We Are
Clickilink ("Clickilink", "we", "us", or "our") is a social networking and business platform operated from the United Arab Emirates. We help individuals share content and message in real time, and we give businesses tools to publish profiles, list products and services, and receive orders. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.
We are the controller responsible for your personal data under this Policy. If you have any question about how we handle your information, you can reach us at any time at info@clickilink.com.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to the Clickilink services across every channel we operate:
- our website at clickilink.com and its subpages;
- our iOS application distributed through the Apple App Store;
- our Android application distributed through Google Play;
- our backend application programming interface at api.clickilink.com, which powers all of the above.
Together we refer to these as the "Service". This Policy does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services that you may reach through links shared on Clickilink; those are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. No Tracking, No Data Brokers, No Advertising SDKs
We want to be unambiguous about this because it is central to how Clickilink works:
- We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising. Clickilink does not link your activity with data from other companies' apps or websites to build advertising profiles or to measure advertising.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs and we do not serve third-party behavioral advertising inside the Service.
- We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers.
Because we do not engage in cross-app or cross-site tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, the Clickilink iOS app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not request permission to track. Every category of data described below is used only to operate and improve the Service for you — never to track you across other companies' products.
4. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information generated as you use the Service, and a limited amount of technical information from your device. We aim to collect only what is necessary for the features you use.
a. Account information
- your name and username;
- your email address and, where you provide it, your phone number;
- your password, which is stored only in hashed (irreversible) form;
- your country or region;
- optional gender, which is stored internally for your account and is never displayed publicly;
- a unique user identifier assigned to your account.
b. Profile & content
- profile photo, bio, and profession;
- posts, articles, comments, and reactions you create;
- photos, videos, and audio or voice recordings you upload or send;
- direct messages and group conversations you participate in;
- search history and other content you generate within the Service.
c. Business & commerce data
- business profile details such as business name, description, and category;
- product and service listings, including images and pricing;
- orders you place or receive, and related order communications.
d. Device & usage data
- device type and operating system, and a device identifier used for push notifications;
- app interactions, feature usage, and diagnostic information needed to keep the Service reliable;
- IP address and approximate region derived from it, used for security and fraud prevention.
e. Support communications
When you contact us for help or to report an issue, we keep the messages, attachments, and contact details you provide so we can respond and improve the Service.
f. Payment data
When you buy from a business on Clickilink, payments are handled by a licensed third-party payment processor. We receive order and transaction details (such as amount, status, and items) but we do not collect or store your full payment card number on our servers. Card data is handled directly by the payment processor under its own security standards (such as PCI DSS) and privacy policy.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the categories of data above strictly to deliver and protect the Service. We do not use any of it for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Provide the core service: create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in;
- Enable social features: publish posts and articles, deliver messages, show comments, and connect you with others;
- Power business & commerce: display business profiles and listings, process orders, and share order details between buyer and seller;
- Send notifications: deliver push notifications and service emails such as verification, password reset, and order updates;
- Keep the platform safe: moderate content, detect abuse and fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions and community guidelines;
- Provide support: respond to your requests and troubleshoot problems;
- Improve reliability: understand how features perform so we can fix bugs and improve the experience;
- Comply with the law: meet legal, regulatory, and tax obligations and respond to lawful requests.
6. Push Notifications & Email
With your permission, we send push notifications about messages, social activity, and order updates. Push delivery on mobile uses a device push token managed through our push-notification provider. You can turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings or within the app. Service emails (for example, account verification and security alerts) are part of operating your account; where emails are optional, you can opt out using the controls provided in the message or your settings.
7. How We Share Information
We share personal data only in the limited circumstances below, and never in exchange for money or for third-party advertising:
- With other users, as you direct: your public profile, posts, and listings are visible according to your choices; messages are shared with the people you send them to; orders are shared between the relevant buyer and business.
- With service providers: trusted vendors that process data on our behalf and under contract, solely to provide the Service (see Section 8).
- For legal and safety reasons: when we believe disclosure is required by law, or is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Clickilink.
- In a business transfer: if Clickilink is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
All sharing with service providers is governed by contracts that limit their use of data to providing services to us. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers.
8. Service Providers We Rely On
We work with a small number of vetted, reputable service providers to run the Service. For security reasons we describe them by function rather than by name. Each receives only the data needed for its function:
- Cloud hosting and database providers — secure cloud hosting and database storage for account and content data;
- Media storage and delivery provider — storage, processing, and delivery of media such as photos and videos;
- Licensed payment processor — secure payment processing for orders placed through business accounts;
- Push-notification provider — delivery of mobile push notifications via push tokens.
These providers are bound by contract and by their own privacy and security commitments, and act only on our instructions. We review the data they receive to keep it limited to what is necessary, and we may change providers from time to time without naming them here.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- You control your content: you can delete individual posts, articles, messages (where supported), and listings from within the Service.
- You can delete your account: account deletion is available in the app and on the web, or by emailing us. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your personal profile data, subject to the exceptions below.
- Business deletion: you can delete a business profile and its listings. However, records of completed orders are retained so that buyers keep an accurate record of their purchases and so we can meet financial, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.
- Residual copies: limited information may persist in secure backups for a reasonable period and in records we are legally required to keep.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Clickilink honors the rights granted under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and provides equivalent controls to users in other regions, including those covered by the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation. These include the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Delete your data, subject to the retention exceptions in Section 9;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Portability — receive a copy of data you provided in a usable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@clickilink.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the UAE Data Office.
11. Your Privacy Choices & Controls
Beyond the legal rights described above, Clickilink gives you practical, in-app controls so you can decide how visible you are and who can interact with you. These are settings you manage yourself from within the app and on the web:
- Make your account private: you can switch your account or profile to private so that only followers you approve can see your posts and content.
- Control who sees your content: you decide what appears on your public profile and who can view your posts, and you can adjust these visibility choices at any time.
- Block and report: you can block other users so they can no longer contact or interact with you, and you can report posts, comments, messages, accounts, or businesses that you believe break our rules.
- Edit or delete your content: you can edit or delete your own posts, articles, comments, listings, and other content whenever you choose.
- Manage your profile and credentials: you can update your profile information, change your email address (with verification), and change your password from your account settings.
- Control notifications: you can manage or turn off push notifications in the app and in your device settings, and adjust which alerts you receive.
- Delete your account or business: you can delete your account at any time, and you can delete a business profile and its listings while completed order records are preserved so buyers keep an accurate history of their purchases (see Section 9).
These are voluntary privacy and visibility controls for your own account. They are not age-verification or parental-control features — as noted in Section 14, Clickilink does not provide in-app age-assurance or parental controls.
12. How We Protect Your Data
We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit over HTTPS/TLS, hashing of passwords, access controls that limit who can view personal data, and monitoring to detect and respond to threats. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and to limit collection to what we need.
13. International Data Transfers
Clickilink is operated from the United Arab Emirates, and our service providers may store or process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps consistent with the UAE PDPL and other applicable laws to ensure an adequate level of protection, such as relying on providers that maintain recognized safeguards and contractual commitments.
14. Age Requirements & Eligibility
Clickilink is intended for a general audience but is not directed to young children. You must be at least 15 years old to create an account and use the Service, in line with United Arab Emirates law.
- If you are between 15 and 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you should use Clickilink only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where that consent is required by local law.
- In the United Arab Emirates and certain other jurisdictions, a higher age threshold or guardian consent may apply; you are responsible for complying with the laws of your location.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 15 has provided us information, contact us at info@clickilink.com.
Clickilink does not provide parental-control or age-verification features within the app. This section describes our eligibility requirements; it does not represent any in-app age-assurance mechanism.
15. Cookies & Local Storage
On the web, we use strictly necessary browser storage to operate the Service. This includes storing an authentication token (JWT) in localStorage to keep you signed in, and using sessionStorage and similar caches to remember preferences and speed up the experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. You can clear or block this storage in your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out and limit functionality.
16. Apple App Store & Google Play
The Clickilink mobile apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of an app may also be subject to the app store's own terms and privacy practices. Apple and Google are not responsible for Clickilink or for the privacy practices described here. Push notifications require your device permission. Purchases of physical or business goods and services within Clickilink are processed through our payment provider rather than the app stores' in-app purchase systems, except where an app store requires otherwise.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
18. Contact Us
For any privacy question or request, or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@clickilink.com. Clickilink is operated from the United Arab Emirates.
